EventReg Update & CVS Update 9/17/2004
Friday, September 17, 2004 - 03:06 PM Sorry I have been kinda busy the past few weeks, and have not spent a whole lot of time working on EventReg. There have been a few improvements, The_Lorax cleaned up a bit of his code for the e-mail and PostCalendar integration routines. And I cleaned up several bugs that popped up on the CVS version in the recent past. It seems as thought most of it is working, I appreciate your patience in getting these issues resolved, and look forward to hear more about how you are using this module & features you would like to implement. I enabled downloading of TarBall's from the CVS Site. So if you want to grab the freshest copy that would be the best way to do it. Enjoy! Erik ![]()
EventReg Update & CVS Update.
Friday, August 27, 2004 - 06:30 AM Alright.I published the updates to CVS, demo available on my test site: Silver-Wolf Test Site (Module & site testing please do not post anything there feel free to signup for events and whatnot tho) Web CVS Browser I updated a few files you can download from the web CVS client. look for the ones that were most recently updated, It fixes the bug with registrations allowed over the max_regs. with one exception. If there is 1 seat left, someone can still register more than 1 person, this will be fixed shortly. Please also take a look at the new suggestions forum, I would like to gather a listing of module ideas thay you have, and who knows I might decide to do yours next. Erik ![]()
EventReg .54 Released!
Monday, July 26, 2004 - 06:18 AM Finally, I Released EventReg .54 today, check out the download info for added features and fixes I have GZIP and ZIP formats available for download here or at the NOC. Please let me know what you think, I spent a lot of time cleaning up the code and consolidating functions to reduce overall size and redundancy(and to help make it easier/quicker to code). It worked for me locally for upgrade/new install. But it is still technically "Alpha" software, so backup your database just in case. Erik ![]()
Update 7-24-04
Saturday, July 24, 2004 - 05:19 PM Hey, I know what you're thinking, Yesterday was Friday the 23rd, and I don't see any files. Well there is a good reason for that. You can look at the forums for more info, but on Thursday I received a file from a fellow programmer(don't remember the name it is posted in the forums) With a modified version of EventReg, with several bug-fixes and a few features. It was based off the core .53, so I am trying to merge his code for .531 with the code from .54, to have a combined .54 release. I'm hoping to complete that this weekend, and I felt that the wait should be worth it in the end. Sorry for the delay, Erik ![]()

Along with haveing some issues with my ex and my children, I won't go into details but any prayers you would be nice enough to offer up would be appreciated. I modified a bug in the PrayerPost module downloads, and made a quick change to it I Will get that posted later this week as well and put a notice about it here. It will work with PN .750, it has not worked for me since I upgraded. With that said I have not had a lot of time to be online to test things out, I have setup a local test machine on my laptop which I have been working on as I have had opportunities during the past few days, and I am happy to make a few announcements. Sometime within the next week I will release an updated version of the Event Registration module. The release # will be 0.54. I have added a few things to it and fixed a bug or two. More......
