Xbox Linux: Update 10-20-2003

Well, I am still around! Things have been stressfull for the past few weeks I have not had a lot of time to do anything web-related.. I setup some banners as you can probably see. I need to generate some cashflow from somwhere, and I am hoping some of the banners will help. If you are willing to help out feel free to click the donate button, or go to one of the banners and buy something =)..

CBD has many great things to buy. Im sure you can find something.

I am trying to get some time in working on eventreg, but I can't promise anything at the moment. I will let you know when anything changes, untill then checkout the forums. Send me any ideas for aditional forum topics I would like to see some serious discussions going on there.

eventreg update 10-10-03

Well, I have not seen a big response to the module, A few topics got discussed in the forums, I have completed the language addon for the user & admin user interfaces, but have not done any of the debugging/error strings yet.

I will continue to work on these with the hope that I will be releasing another file soon.

Also in the process of doing this I noticed a few bugs, and one linke that just didnt make sense to me. I will be updateing that as well, so the next release will be a bug fix as well as language addon.

Eventreg 0.50 released!

I ask that eveyone celebrate with us, Today is my 2-year wedding anniversary. Good timing on getting this released =)


I Released the initial alpha version of the Event Registration module, as you can see on the sidebar I setup a demo to give you an idea what it is like, if you don't want to download yet. It is still pretty crude, I need to create & standardize the language definitions. And there is some functionality I want to add. I will continue working on this in the near future. I am now in the process of setting up some themes for my church, The Chapel. I need to get these completed before the project to implement PostNuke on the church site can continue. I will continue to update this page with the status of what is going on, and I think I might release the church themes when I have finished them, I still have not decided for sure yet.

I don't know what is going on but aparently over the past couple days i had over 4000 hits/day. and the bandwidth report would appear this number is accurate. I don't know what is going on, if someone is trying to do some kind of DOS attack or something. I will keep an eye on it though. If you see the site down for some reason just try again a little later. I just renewed the domain name, and I don't forsee canceling the webhost in the near future. I will give notice well in advance if I choose to do this.


Thanks to everyone, again the forums are up. There is a few posts there already.

I am getting closer to finishing the inital release functionality. Just tweaking the admin features.
